Today i thought about the effect a widget can have on ones blog,widgets are tools of revenue or can be tools to keep you on the know and to socialize ,as the same time for your readers to to get to know you vice versa..so i am going to keep it short and start.

Statistics widget,
this is a blogger widget,this widget shows mainly the comments and posts on your your site,
,log in to your dashboard,Add a new gadget,on the HTML/Java script,copy the code and paste it.



Paypal donation widget

there are three ways to put this widget on your blog,

-you can sign in with paypal,and when you are logged in,click on merchant service tab,click the donate link under the create buttons category,then enter your website name,if you want it to appear on your website

-An easier way is that,go to Paypal Donation Factory,and add a website name,create a button of your choice,log in to your HTML/Javascript found in add a gadget,paste the code given,this will be created on a sidebar



Visitors widget
this is a cool widget ,it helps you know where people are coming from to read your blog,its encouraging to know that your content matters,there are two types i know of Showing visitors,one is by,placing a feedjit widget,which i spoke earlier on my posts,or have the world visitors map widget which looks more classic,this is found in the WidgetBox


Page rank widget
this widget is mainly used to see a page rank ,also known as the page rank checker.

Mp3 player widget,
this is a widget that will show you or help your viewers to download music to their weBsites,its for the amazon.

Google language translator
this is is a free google widget,it helps in translation of languages.

Tell a friend widget
Sign in to, Tell A Friend,this widget enables visitors and friends about an item or post they have come across,i think its useful in blogging

ADDING WEBSITES
you must have an adsense account,so that you can add an adsense code.
-for you to view your earnings,,click on channels settings for tracking.
-Remember content always matters

-login to adsense then click on setup,click on the ad unit size,set it up, be it,for content,link unit,search unit.
when you are done with each,you will receive a code,then paste it to your site
Go back to your dashboard,click layout,and then you can click add page element,choose html or

If you want to remove adsense from blog,go to the account pages,scroll to delete.

ADDING LINKS
log in to Dashboard,then click Newpost here the post editor will open,type in the link the words you want to put or you want to link,click the link icon,on top of the frame of posts editor,and then you edit the html tab,paste in the new window,then click ok.

ADDING LINKS TO OTHERS
Log in to dashboard,click on Newpost,type in names of friends you want to add and blog title,
copy and paste the url/link from thier address bar.,publish and view

I learned a few steps for creating traffic,this is effective for new bloggers to know a few tips about on this subject,this tips i learned ,there are all kinds of steps but i thought that this will do,

-subscribe to a feed of your choice,i prefer using Feedburner.
-you can join the bloglog services,blogcatalog,let me say again,social networks .
-join myyahoo.com,choose content ,add your blog rss feed.
-submit blog to blog directories.
-make sure you link your blog to your email and exchange links.

DELETING A BLOG



you want to delete a blog without deleting the whole blog site,assuming you are in blogger,log in to your site,on your dashboard click on edit posts link,and you get options to delete.



REMOVING AN IMAGE
someytimes you want to remove an image when writtng down different context,you can add


on your HTML image. Go to setting > formatting and scroll down to
"Convert Line Breaks" if its set to yes it will replace all hard
returns entered in the post editor with
and two hard returns get
replaced with two

tags in uppercase too, set it to
no and it wont replace any,you can use the edit html mode .



COMMENTS

Go Settings>Comments and
verify comments are allowed. Also, Layout>Page Elements, click the 'edit' link
on 'blog posts' and verify the boxes associated with comments are checked.You can allow comments from certain group or public.



CHANGING BLOGGER NAME,
To change the name of your blog,Go to your blogger dashboard -> settings-> then you can change your
blog name .just make sure you you have made up you mind.



PICTURES

Locating pictures click right side button edit html,
above you will see your picture's xml code to ,
cut and paste to your desired location,and then
publish its an easy way to move picture in blog posting .
T o disable your pictures link to other websites ,After uploading click Edit Html tab of Post Editor and delete and from the code for the picture and publish.



CREATING A SECOND TO BLOG.
For you to create a new page without it appearing on the front page,Create a post and backdate it so it does not appear on Main Page or follow this steps

1) Create a permanent main page post.
2) Make additional posts that do not show up on the main page

3) Link the main page to the other posts.

browser solve your problem,Or Use Firefox browser,
Changing from 'classic' templates to layouts is a one-click
operation. Just go to Template>Customize Design and click the
'Upgrade Your Template' button. Going back is easy. Go to
Layout>Edit HTML and click the 'Revert to Classic Template' link at
the bottom of the page.

you wll find options "Layout" option, if u click this then it will open Layout
on this section you can be able to find "Page Elements" .
Here you will find "Add a Gadget" (or Widget) option link, click on
this link then it will open one popup window.
Here in this window u can find this Link list or HTML/JavaScript
widget. to find these u need to scroll down and
once youfind it , click on that and follow the instructions.

Your link can even be added in Text widget.
